On a clear day you can see all of Bavaria from here …

Welcome to the new Radius Tours Munich Blog.

Radius runs daily tours to Neuschwanstein, King Ludwig's fairytale castle in the Alps and one of Germany's most popular visitor attractions.

Radius Tours is just like Neuschwanstein Castle. We attract huge numbers of visitors from all over the world, we tower above our rivals, and we have a few eccentric Germans wandering around the place. Wagner would have written operas about us if he had the chance. We’re big, we’re bold, and our guides sing the best tunes.

Unlike Neuschwanstein Castle, however, we’re easy to get to. Just pop along to platform 33 of Hauptbahnhof, Munich’s central train station, and you’ll see our tour sales office sitting beside our bike rental. Our tours have been starting from here since 1988 – walking tours, history tour, bike tours, day trips by rail, evening tours, ghost tours and beer tours. Generations of happy travellers have experienced the best of Munich and Bavaria with our help, and now we are about to enter our second quarter-century at the cutting edge of Munich tourism.

We are launching this blog to mark our 25th anniversary. Considering how much experience we’ve accumulated over the years, we thought it would be a good idea to share some of it here. We’ll blog on just about everything related to Munich and Bavaria and tourism – what’s going on right now, insights into everyday life and culture, the stories behind some of our most famous visitor attractions, and the wonderful and just occasionally weird world of tours and travel.

So pop in and see what’s happening. This blog aims to be your castle in the sky over Bavaria – you’ll get the best views from here.
